To promote educational cooperation and cultural exchange, the Chinese Government offers a variety of fully funded scholarships to outstanding international students and researchers. These programs support full-degree studies and research opportunities at top universities across China.

The China Scholarship Council (CSC), under the Ministry of Education of the Peopleโ€™s Republic of China, manages and oversees the entire scholarship process.

1. Bilateral Program

Offered under agreements between China and other countries. Open to undergraduates, graduates, and scholars.

4. Student Exchange Program

  1. Tuition Fees: Fully covered
  2. Accommodation: Free university housing or subsidy
  3. Monthly Stipend:
    • Undergraduates: ยฅ2,500
    • Masterโ€™s/General Scholars: ยฅ3,000
    • Doctoral/Senior Scholars: ยฅ3,500
  4. Health Insurance:
    • ยฅ800/year (long-term)
    • ยฅ400 (for short-term programs under 6 months)

โœ… Eligibility Criteria

  • Non-Chinese citizen in good health
  • Age & Education Requirements:
    • UG applicants: Under 25 with high school diploma
    • Masterโ€™s: Under 35 with Bachelorโ€™s degree
    • PhD: Under 40 with Masterโ€™s degree
    • General Scholar: Under 45 with high school diploma
    • Senior Scholar: Under 50 with Masterโ€™s or higher
  • Language Requirements:
    • Chinese-taught: HSK Level 3โ€“4 depending on program
    • English-taught: IELTS/TOEFL or as required by university
  • Meet academic and university-specific requirements
